Hollywood Insurgency Fails at Box Office

Liberals and Democrats, reinforced by their supporters in the mainstream media, would have the American public believe that there is widespread dissatisfaction with the current direction of the nation.

However, when put to the real-life test, Congressional Democrats have yet do anything of substance to change the direction of the country, including enforcing the mandate that they claim gave them the Congressional majority.

It comes as no surprise then that liberals in Hollywood, who have also severely misjudged the mood of the country, are also suffering the same kinds of setbacks.

AFP reports that almost without exception, however, the current crop of anti-war, anti-government movies have struggled to turn a profit at the box-office and in many cases have received a mauling from unimpressed critics as well.

The message is clear: just as Americans didn't give Democrats a mandate for sweeping change, Americans don't want to be preached to about patriotism by liberal-types who would never join the military to defend the country, yet want to make a profit off of criticizing the country using the freedoms provided by true patriots.
