Zogby: Majority Disapprove of Higher Taxes to Fund Health Coverage

Just over a third of Americans would be willing to pay higher taxes for everyone to have health insurance, a new Aspen Institute/Zogby Poll shows. When asked if they would be willing to pay higher taxes so that all children could have health insurance, 51% of Americans said they would, with those with lower household incomes showing the most support.

One of the dirty little secret about health care for the uninsured is that the issue is already covered.

Most uninsured use the emergency room for their primary physician and that is already covered by current programs.
