Obama Plays Race Card in Jacksonville

Democrat presidential Barack Obama said on Friday he expects Republicans to highlight the fact that he is black as part of an effort to make voters afraid of him, Reuters reports.

"They're going to try to make you afraid of me. He's young and inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?"

The irony is the only onces who have talked -- and talked a lot -- about race in the election are Democrats.

An event claiming to promote 'Media Reform" instead promotes government control of speech....

Accuracy in Media editor Cliff Kincaid is warning that “media reform” is a cover for “unleashing the powers of the federal government on those who use television and radio to resist and challenge the liberal-left agenda.”

“It will be carried forward in the name of media ‘fairness,’ the ‘public interest,’ stopping ‘media consolidation,’ Internet ‘neutrality,’ and stopping harmful ‘hate speech,’” Kincaid says. “But it will leave the First Amendment in tatters and the federal government in control, and conservatives will have to resort to using the mostly liberal courts to get their rights back. Make no mistake - this is what they mean by ‘change.’”
