Al-Qaida Insults Obama; Mainstream Media Finally Outraged

Showing an expected lack of respect for the perceived weakness exhibited by the new U.S. president-elect, AP reports al-Qaida's No. 2 leader used a racial epithet to insult Barack Obama in a message posted Wednesday, describing the newly elected leader in demeaning terms that imply he does the bidding of whites.

It's interesting to note at this point, after all of the atrocities committed by al-Qaida, the mainstream media, who have been thus far treating terrorists as simply "misunderstood" individuals, are finally upset that al-Zawahri has slurred Obama.
The message appeared chiefly aimed at persuading Muslims and Arabs that Obama does not represent a change in U.S. policies. Ayman al-Zawahri said in the message, which appeared on militant Web sites, that Obama is "the direct opposite of honorable black Americans" like Malcolm X, the 1960s African-American rights leader.

In al-Qaida's first response to Obama's victory, al-Zawahri also called the president-elect—along with secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice—"house negroes."

Obama and the Return to Sept. 10

Barack Obama, throughout his campaign, gave indications that his election would mean a return to the September 10 mentality, a national-security outlook marked prominently by its lack of seriousness about the terrorist threat. However, what we didn't guess at the time was that Obama's election would mean a return of the Clinton Administration's power players, those people in charge who by mistake or by purpose caused the terrorist attacks to happen.

In choosing Eric Holder to be his attorney general, Obama has taken a one large step toward confirming our darkest fears.

From NRO:
Holder was the Clinton administration’s last deputy attorney general, succeeding Jamie Gorelick in 1997 under Janet Reno. That appointment marked the final elevation in a series of Clinton-era promotions that punctuate his rèsumè. Holder's rise, like Obama’s own, is of symbolic significance, as he now has been nominated to be the nation’s first black attorney general. Symbolism, however, cannot camouflage the fact that Holder is a conventional, check-the-boxes creature of the Left.

He is convinced justice in America needs to be “established” rather than enforced; he’s excited about hate crimes and enthusiastic about the constitutionally dubious Violence Against Women Act; he’s a supporter of affirmative action and a practitioner of the statistical voodoo that makes it possible to burden police departments with accusations of racial profiling and the states with charges of racially skewed death-penalty enforcement; he’s more likely to be animated by a touchy-feely Reno-esque agenda than traditional enforcement against crimes; he’s in favor of ending the detentions of enemy combatants at Guantanamo Bay and favors income redistribution to address the supposed root causes of crime.
At any other time, Holder would simply be an uninspired choice, a step backward. But these are not ordinary times; we face a serious, ongoing threat from terrorists, Russians and host of others. At the same time, Democrats hare having a fit over both the alleged politicization of the Justice Department. For now, it is difficult to imagine a worse choice than Eric Holder.

Video: How Obama Got Elected

On November 4th, 2008 millions of Americans were shocked that a man of Barack Obama's limited experience, extreme liberal positions and radical political alliances could be elected President of the United States. For many of these Americans, the explanation was rather simple... the news media, completely enamored with Obama, simply refused to do their job.

On Election day twelve Obama voters were interviewed extensively right after they voted to learn how the news media impacted their knowledge of what occurred during the campaign. These voters were chosen for their apparent intelligence/verbal abilities and willingness to express their opinions to a large audience. The rather shocking video below seeks to provide some insight into which information broke through the news media clutter and which did not.
